Creating adjectives from verbs
In English the past participle of many verbs can be used as an adjective.
There are several suffixes that can be added to verbs to convert them to adjectives.

|less||means without the action of the verb.|
|ive||describes the effect of the verb|
|ant||means to have the characteristic of the verb|
|ent||means someone who performs or causes the action of the verb|
|means capable of being|
