Eine negative Aussage wird verwendet, um zu sagen, dass etwas nicht wahr ist. Es gibt verschiedene Möglichkeiten, negative Aussagen zu formulieren.

Die meisten Sätze können in eine negative Aussage umgewandelt werden, indem man das Hilfsverb do zusammen mit dem Wort not vor dem Hauptverb verwendet. Do not wird oft zu nicht abgekürzt. Zum Beispiel: I don't eat healthy food.

Ein Satz kann auch verneint werden, indem man Wörter wie never, nobody, no one, und nowhere hinzufügt

Eine andere Möglichkeit, einen negativen Satz zu bilden, besteht darin, das Wort no vor ein Substantiv im Satz zu setzen.
